Having 2 boys I rarely make clothing for girls, so any opportunity to do so I jump at. Miss Emma, DS1’s year 1 teacher, had her first baby, a little girl, and I couldn’t resist sewing her some gorgeous harem pants and a navy swing top to match.  Swoon.

The Finer Details

• No Cuff Harem Pants pattern from Brindille and Twig. An incredibly easy sew and a staple in any boys or girls closet.
• Navy fabric – I’m pretty sure this was a jersey from Crafty Mamas Fabrics.
• Coral Poppies knit fabric from Birch Fabrics. Perhaps one of the most lush fabrics I’ve ever sewn with.
• Navy and pink patterned knit – a Spotlight fabric from my stash.
